I mainly just wanted to post a journal so I could use my fancy new TARDIS journal skin. ;) Thank you free membership day on DeviantArt! Admittedly, I wasn't terribly excited over this "Free membership day", nor did I have the time today to really take advantage of it, but the new journal skin is nice. :) Though, I didn't really spend a whole lot of time seeing if there was anything better I wanted. I'm quite a Whovian though, so I'm super happy with my TARDIS.

So anway, I guess while I'm at it I'll update you all on my art. So, last year was really bad for that area of my life. I'm gonna try to make up for it this year. I've already been painting like crazy, and I hope to start taking a lot more pictures too. But this year also comes with a lot more school and responsibilities for me.
I'm praying that I never become one of those people who says "Ever since I started college I just haven't had anytime to paint/draw/take pictures." What a sad day that would be! I hope I never ever let that happen.

Hope everyone is having, and continues to have, a great and eventful and art filled 2012!

Nothing Important

Just felt like writing a journal entry.

I've done almost no painting or photography lately. Quite sad about that.  I have an art show in a few months and I really would love to enter tons of paintings in it, but it seems every time I try to paint I've forgotten how. D:  This is adding a lot of extra stress to my life, which I really don't need right now.

Thankfully I can still draw, and I absolutely love drawing. It's my #1 stress reliever, so I've been doing a lot of that. It's nothing I can enter into my show though.  And I don't think my drawings look all that great, so I don't post them all up here. :P  I'm trying to look at various online tutorials for drawing, cause I've never had any drawings lessons, I've just taught myself. I'm thinking now I should actually start learning different techniques and the like. If you know any good tutorials, let me know!

Also, I'm trying to get more into different crafts like sewing, making earrings, etc. These things make me feel a little bit better about my lack of motivation in other areas.

So, that's my life as of recent times (at least the "art" aspect of it. I assure you there's a lot more going on in my life than that).

I've never posted a journal before!
Which is rather surprising, I'm quite a fan of writing in journals.
So, anyway,I thought it was about time I wrote a journal and shared with you all.

My life recently has been crazy. These past few months have been rather difficult, and the next few months I imagine shall be too. In fact, I imagine them to be even more difficult.
Recently though a number of great opportunities concerning photography and art have come up for me to do in the next few months. Which I'm rather excited about. So now I think I shall be able to survive. ^_^
